Cellula Robotics has been working on rock-cutting robots for the terrestrial mining sector and the subsea excavation and trenching sectors since 2001.  Projects include:

o         Geomarine Ltd. - design of a subsea shallow-water cable Trencher

o         Geomarine Ltd. - conceptual design of custom subsea installation equipment

o         Perry Slingsby Systems Inc. - design and provision of robotic components for RovdrillTM and RovdrillTM M80 subsea coring drills

o         Perry Slingsby Systems Inc. - design and production analysis for rock-wheel integration to Canyon T750 Trencher

o         Nautilus Minerals Inc. - analysis of subsea rock-cutting data for sizing of robotic excavation equipment

o         Technip USA - conceptual design of subsea excavation equipment

o         Coanda Research and Development Corporation - assisted in the development of a slurry wear loop facility

o         Placer Dome Technical Services Ltd. - project management of a research and development project investigating the feasibility of subsea mining of seafloor massive sulphide (SMS) deposits

o         Placer Dome Technical Services Ltd. - project management and development of an instrumented robotic subsea rock-cutting excavator for sizing of robotic excavation equipment

o         Placer Dome Technical Services Ltd. - development of a robotic underground hard-rock mining machine

o         Schlumberger Oilfield (S) Pte Ltd - subsea pumping systems design

o         Pangeo Subsea Inc. - project management of an “Acoustic Corer” prototype

o         Pangeo Subsea Inc. - design and provision of various subsea assemblies and mechanisms

o         Perry Slingsby Systems Inc. - ROV-related design support services

o         Ocean Floor Geophysics Inc. - project management of subsea electromagnetic conductivity sensor and design and provision of assemblies and mechanisms

 Advanced Control Systems, Dynamics, Estimators, Manipulators

o         Perry Slingsby Systems Inc. - control algorithms for Triton XLX station-keeping control functions

o         Nautilus Minerals Inc. - modelling of towfish and catenary behavior

o         Nautilus Minerals Inc. - post-processing of multibeam survey data to generate 20cm resolution bathymetric model

o         Perry Slingsby Systems Inc. - development of complete 6D vehicle dynamics model for work-class ROVs
