Cellula Robotics Ltd. (Cellula) had been awarded a contract from an undisclosed client to manufacture a CRD100 Seafloor Drill.
The CRD100 is a fourth generation seafloor drill designed to operate in waters down to 3000m depth for borehole sampling and mineral exploration. The CRD100 provides an unprecedented level of intelligent control that facilitates efficient core sampling. A wireline tool system further enhances the speed of operation.
Built on proven subsystems, the standard CRD100 is self-contained with a 100 HP power pack. Using Commercial off The Shelf (COTS) “size H” drilling tools, the standard CRD100 can sample for 65 meters of continuous coring.
All equipment will be delivered December, 2016.
